Ensure your Water Heater is operating at peak performance
- Never set water heater thermostat above 120 degrees.
- Always cut power before doing any work on your water heater.
- For most cases, the elements should be replaced if simple thermostat adjustment does not work.
- Recommend flushing water from water heater after 1 year to remove irons in the water that corrode the lines.
- Pour grease-cutter detergent into kitchen drains with hot water to clear periodically. Clean faucet strainers will improve water pressure.
- Always run extra water when using the garbage disposal to clear debris or food all the way through to the outside sewer lines!
